The images made me think about power in heterosexual
relationships. Women are a lot more in control than men think. We think
we're picking them up but they've already decided which alpha male it's
going to be. Like the myth of the all-knowing docotrs and subservient
nurses. The nurses always know more and do more.
I'm not denying sexism. I just think power has a way of evening itself
out and if there's an uneven distribution in one area of the relationship
it often gets made up for in another area. |
